La Policía Nacional celebra la fiesta de los Santos Ángeles Custodios

La Comisaría del Cuerpo Nacional de Policía de Lucena y Cabra ha celebrado este lunes la fiesta de los Santos Ángeles Custodios, patronos de este cuerpo de Seguridad del Estado.

La agenda prevista para la celebración de esta jornada festiva se ha desarrollado en la vecina localidad de Cabra y se ha iniciado con una Eucaristía que ha tenido lugar en la Parroquia de Asunción y Ángeles que ha contado con la presencia del primer edil egabrense, Fernando Priego, el alcalde Lucena, Juan Pérez, representantes de las corporaciones municipales de ambas localidades así como de otros Cuerpos de Seguridad como Policía Local y Guardia Civil.

Los agentes fallecidos en acto de servicio han sido homenajeados y especialmente recordados durante la jornada que ha concluido con la interpretación del himno nacional.

Tras la misa, en el Hotel Fuente Las Piedras ha tenido lugar el acto de imposición de distinciones en el que el Inspector Jefe de la Comisaría de la Policía Nacional Lucena y Cabra. Además de anunciar que el nivel de hechos delictivos si sitúa un cincuenta por ciento por debajo de la media nacional, ha tenido un emotivo recuerdo para el agente Patricio Barbancho recientemente fallecido. El oficial Antonio José Oliva Navarro y los agentes David Prieto García y Pedro Manuel Pulido Navarrete han recibido la Cruz al Mérito Policial con distintivo blanco.

Por sus 35 años de servicio, el policía Felipe Muñoz ha recibido una placa y por sus 25 años en el cuerpo le ha sido impuesta la Cruz a la Dedicación Policial al subinspector Antonio Rama y al policía Antonio José González. En esta ocasión, la Medalla de Mérito de los Santos Ángeles Custodios ha recaído en la funcionaria del Cuerpo General Auxiliar de la Administración del Estado, Carolina Cruz.

El alcalde de Lucena, Juan Pérez, ha manifestado, con palabras de aliento, su más sincera felicitación al Cuerpo Nacional de Policía por la labor que viene ejerciendo en aras de la seguridad de los ciudadanos de ambas localidades. Los agentes fallecidos en acto de servicio han sido homenajeados y especialmente recordados durante la jornada que ha concluido con la interpretación del himno nacional.
