VOX Lucena pone en marcha una campaña de donaciones y de recogida de alimentos

El grupo municipal anuncia esta iniciativa tras la negativa de la mayoría de la Corporación a su última moción donde pedía la reducción del  50% de la asignación a grupos políticos para destinarla a ayudas de  emergencia para familias, Pymes y autónomos

Según Antonio Hidalgo, Portavoz de Vox en Lucena “Los votos en contra de PSOE, PP e IU hicieron que la moción que presentamos el pasado Pleno Municipal de 26 de mayo, no saliera adelante. Nuestra petición habría supuesto un ahorro de unos 12.000 euros al Ayuntamiento de Lucena, que se habrían destinado directamente a ayudas de emergencia para familias lucentinas, Pymes y autónomos”.

Hidalgo añade que  “Ante esta negativa, y preocupados por la crisis a todos los niveles en la que estamos inmersos, hemos querido mantener nuestro compromiso y aportar nuestro grano de arena lanzando una campaña de donaciones y recogida de alimentos no perecederos entre nuestros afiliados y simpatizantes, extensible a cualquier ciudadano que quiera colaborar y que irá destinada al Comedor Social Virgen de Araceli de Lucena”.

Desde Cáritas Lucena, encargada de la gestión del Comedor Social, destacan con preocupación el importante crecimiento de demanda por parte de usuarios que se ha triplicado en estos meses, dando servicio a unas 130 personas ofreciéndoles alimentos cocinados para llevar de lunes a viernes, y un crecimiento del 100% en Cáritas, con 2.000 usuarios, donde se les ofrecen alimentos no perecederos, fruta, verdura y productos de higiene.
