Un centenar de alumnos han participado en el III Torneo de Ajedrez Intercentros

Esta semana ha tenido lugar  la celebración del Torneo de Ajedrez Intercentros 2018 que ha vuelto a celebrarse, por tercer año consecutivo en el IES Marqués de Comares.

En esta edición se ha batido el récord de participación, con 100 jugadores de todos los centros educativos de la localidad (exceptuando Jauja y las Navas del Selpillar). Cada centro ha aportado 7 jugadores, exceptuando el CDP La Purísima que ha podido inscribir a 9 al tratarse de un centro con Educación Primaria y ESO.

Cada centro se comprometió a elaborar torneos internos para clasificar al alumnado, a la vez que se fomenta este deporte.

El torneo fue inaugurado por el Director del IES Marqués de Comares,  Antonio Villatoro, y presentado por el promotor y organizador del torneo, Rafael Fernández (profesor de Biología y Geología del IES Marqués de Comares). Como árbitro actuará  José Luna, monitor federado de la Federación Cordobesa de Ajedrez y vicepresidente del Club de Ajedrez Ruy López de Lucena, y explicó las normas al inicio.

El torneo se disputó siguiendo un sistema suizo a 7 rondas, con partidas a 6 minutos finish (sin incremento por jugada) por jugador. Alumnado colaborador del centro ayudaron en el desarrollo del mismo.

Como viene siendo tradicional, el centro invitó a chocolate con churros a todos los participantes.

Se han repartido 14 premios:

  • Dos medallas para los participantes de Primer Ciclo de Primaria (1º-2º curso)
  • Tres medallas a los mejores clasificados del Segundo Ciclo de Primaria (3º-4º curso)
  • Tres medallas a los mejores clasificados del Tercer Ciclo de Primaria (5º-6º curso)
  • Tres medallas del 4º al 6º puesto absoluto.
  • También se otorgaron TRES TROFEOS para los TRES PRIMEROS ABSOLUTOS.

Además, todos los jugadores se llevaron un diploma de participación.
