Presentada la IV Media Maratón Ciudad de Lucena, una carrera que sale del Circuito Provincial

Manuel Lara, concejal de Deportes y presidente del Patronato Deportivo Municipal de Lucena, junto a Domingo Alonso y Pedro Díaz, representantes del equipo técnico, han presentado la IV Media Maratón Ciudad de Lucena que tendrá lugar el próximo 5 de marzo de 2017.Para esta nueva edición se mantienen las grandes cantidades económicas en el reparto de premios con respecto a años anteriores, situándose esta carrera entre las mejores de Andalucía en este apartado. Una de las novedades destacadas para esta cuarta edición será un premio especial para los cinco primeros corredores y corredoras de clubes deportivos que crucen la meta.

Un año más el objetivo del Patronato Deportivo Municipal se centra en llegar a la cifra redonda de 1000 corredores, una cantidad de inscripciones que puede estar al alcance de una prueba que, para el próximo año 2017, sale del Circuito Provincial en favor de la Carrera Popular de Lucena. El presupuesto con el que se dota esta cuarta edición es muy similar a la del año anterior; una carrera que puede costar en torno a 70.000€, de los que 15.000€ son de gasto municipal y el resto se debe buscar captando colaboradores. Las categorías se mantienen al igual que el recorrido; una carrera única que cuenta con circuito urbano, pasa por la Vía Verde e instalaciones deportivas. Además, este año cuentan con 300 voluntarios de los Institutos Marqués de Comares, Juan de Aréjula y Sierra de Aras.

En los próximos días se presentará un vídeo promocional de la prueba donde hablarán los representantes de los cuatro clubes lucentinos en el Palacio Erisana.

El plazo de inscripción, que será exclusivamente vía online, ya está abierto y finaliza el 21 de febrero de 2017. Las inscripciones se pueden formalizar mediante la web: www.mediamaratonlucena.com
