Muere un ciclista de 42 años en Lucena mientras participaba en una ruta de La Relenga

Un ciclista lucentino de 42 años ha fallecido en Lucena, mientras participaba en una prueba organizada por el Club Ciclista La Relenga, con la colaboración de la Diputación Provincial de Córdoba. La etapa discurría por el término municipal de Lucena.

Minutos antes de las 4 de la tarde de ayer domingo, compañeros del ciclista fallecido daban la voz de alerta al Servicio de Emergencias 112, por la desaparición de este hombre, cuyo cuerpo fue hallado sin vida en la carretera del cementerio de San Jorge.

300 corredores participaban en Lucena en esta Ruta ciclista que se iniciaba domingo a las 9:30 de la mañana. Se trataba  de un circuito de unos 50 kilómetros que se iniciaba en la Ciudad Deportiva para discurrir por parajes naturales como el Valle de Los Fósiles o las trialeras de la Sierra de Aras. El desnivel acumulado de la prueba se fijaba en 1.140 metros.
