Medio Ambiente oferta actividades de formación y ocio con la llegada de la primavera

La Delegación de Medio Ambiente ha programado una serie de actividades para celebrar la llegada de la primavera con el objetivo de “fomentar y concienciar a la ciudadanía de los problemas ambientales, además de mostrar la sensibilidad con el medio e impulsar el interés en la participación y en la mejora del medio ambiente”, según ha avanzado la concejala de Medio Ambiente y Sostenibilidad, Mamen Beato.

El programa arranca este mes de marzo con la celebración de diversas efemérides, como el Día del Árbol, el Día del Agua y la Hora del Planeta. Así, están previstas este próximo fin de semana (20 y21 de marzo) la actividad ‘Árboles que abrazan tu ciudad’ para descubrir el patrimonio arbóreo del Paseo de Rojas y una visita al río Anzur denominada ‘Nuestra agua y ciudad’.

El 27 de marzo, por la Hora del Planeta, se apagarán las luces de algunos edificios municipales. Dentro de marzo, la Concejalía se pone en marcha la habitual Aula de la Naturaleza de Semana Santa, que tendrá lugar del 29 al 31 de marzo, para escolares de 6 a 12 años, en la sede del aula en la antigua estación junto a la Vía Verde en una actividad que pretende ayudar a las familias a conciliar la vida laboral con la familiar durante las vacaciones escolares.

Ya en el mes de abril, diferentes talleres y actividades completan la oferta formativa y de ocio de la Concejalía de Medio Ambiente y Sostenibilidad. Un taller de Avistamiento, identificación y conocimiento del ciclo de vida de las aves urbanas en primavera (9 de abril) y la segunda edición del taller ReciCLARTE, como ejemplo de responsabilidad social y cuidado del medio ambiente, encabezan el listado de propuestas. Además, se anuncia la celebración de un ciclo de formación sobre Agroecología, dentro del futuro Plan Estratégico para la red de huertos urbanos, para hacer una ciudad más verde, sostenible, sabia y participativa. Consisten en tres tipos de talleres: taller de huerto tradicional (10,11 y 17 de abril), taller de macetohuerto (10,11 y 17 de abril) y taller de huerto escolar, dirigido a los centros educativos.

Se completan las actividades con otro ciclo de educación ambiental sobre el proyecto de conservación del cernícalo primilla.
