Más de 19200 cordobeses regalan su solidaridad a Cruz Roja, un 4% más que hace un año

La cifra de personas voluntarias de la entidad ha pasado de 3.209 a 3.418 (6% más) y la de socias de 15.254 a 15.802 (3,5% más). En Lucena 906 personas ofrecen parte de su dinero o de su tiempo libre a Cruz Roja. La gran familia de Cruz Roja en Córdoba no para de crecer y prueba de ello es que entre voluntariado y socios y socias la entidad suma ya más de 19.200 colaboradores en la provincia, un 4 por ciento más que hace solo un año.

En estos últimos doce meses la cifra de personas y empresas que contribuyen económicamente con la organización se ha acercado a los 16.000 socios (15.802 concretamente), a las que hay que sumar las 3.418 que regalan su tiempo como voluntarias para hacer posibles los diversos proyectos sociales de la institución.

De este modo, entre el 1 de enero de 2017 y el 1 de enero de 2018 el número de personas que en Córdoba ofrecen parte de su dinero o de su tiempo libre a Cruz Roja ha pasado de 18.463 (15.254 socias y 3.209 voluntarias) a 19.220, lo que supone el mencionado incremento del 4 por ciento.

De esa cifra global de colaboradores, dos tercios (13.008) corresponden a la capital y el resto se reparte entre las asambleas comarcales y locales que la entidad tiene distribuidas por la provincia: Lucena (906), Valle del Guadiato (782), Puente Genil, (732), Pozoblanco (732), Baena (605), Priego de Córdoba (560), Palma del Río (504), Montilla (414), Hinojosa del Duque (376), Rute (315) y Villanueva de Córdoba (286).

Sin el esfuerzo y la generosidad de todos y cada uno de esos ciudadanos la organización no podría dar respuesta a las incesantes peticiones de ayuda por parte de la ciudadanía, que quedan reflejadas en datos como el de los más de 68.000 cordobeses y cordobesas que recibieron en 2016 la atención de Cruz Roja en la provincia.
