Lucena registra un descenso de la delincuencia y de los daños materiales y contra la seguridad vial en 2018

El Ayuntamiento de Lucena ha celebrado una Junta Local de Seguridad con el objetivo de analizar los datos en materia de seguridad durante la primera parte del año. La reunión, celebrada ayer, estuvo presidida por el alcalde, Juan Pérez, y la subdelegada del Gobierno, Rafaela Valenzuela. En ella, se pudo comprobar el ligero descenso de los delitos graves y la delincuencia que se ha producido respecto al año anterior.

Por su parte, Valenzuela ha expresado que “las fuerzas de seguridad de Lucena están realizando una gran labor en la localidad y eso puede comprobarse en las estadísticas donde hay un descenso de los delitos graves y de la delincuencia”. Asimismo, ha añadido que la valoración es positiva y la colaboración y cooperación entre los agentes “es muy importante para garantizar el bienestar de los ciudadanos”.

En términos globales, el municipio ha registrado en el año 2018 menos daños materiales y contra la seguridad vial respecto al tráfico, así como una bajada de la delincuencia. Según Pérez, el consistorio “debe seguir trabajando en esta línea para mejorar la seguridad y la convivencia entre los habitantes del municipio y eso solo es posible con la labor que desempeñan los cuerpos de seguridad en Lucena”.

Sobre  la demanda hecha pública por el consistorio lucentino por la que se solicitan más plazas de Policía Nacional en la comisaría de Lucena-Cabra, la subdelegada del Gobierno indicaba que se están realizando los informes pertinentes para trabajar e intentar solucionar este problema en la medida que sea posible.
