Lucena participará en el vigésimo aniversario del Día Europeo de la Cultura Judía

El Ayuntamiento de Lucena participará un año más en la conmemoración del Día Europeo de la Cultura Judía, en torno al 1 de septiembre, con la organización de una serie de actividades ofertadas en consonancia con la Red de Juderías de España en torno a una celebración que cumple este año su vigésimo aniversario.

El programa de estos eventos, presentado esta mañana por el concejal de Turismo, Manuel Lara Cantizani, queda encuadrado bajo el título de ‘Septiembre sefardí’ y representa el compromiso de la institución municipal por el legado de la cultura judía, uno de los rasgos identitarios de la ciudad con voz propia en la agenda de actividades locales desde hace varios años.

La visita guiada ‘La Perla de Sefarad premium’, ofertada el 7 de septiembre incluyendo una degustación de dulces sefardíes y el concierto del coro Elí Hoshaná Ciudad de Lucena, de la mano de Tu Historia, pone en marcha la programación de eventos especiales, que incluye también la exposición ‘La historia judía de Andalucía’, del 10 de septiembre al 10 de octubre en la Casa de los Mora.

El intercambio turístico-cultural de esta edición del ‘Septiembre sefardí’ estará protagonizado por Córdoba, la otra ciudad andaluza junto a Jaén presente en la Red de Juderías de España. El sábado 7 de septiembre está previsto la llegada de ciudadanos de Córdoba a Lucena para una visita a Lucena. en nuestra ciudad tendrá lugar una cata de vinos casher en la Bodega El Alfolí.  El sábado día 21 el paseo turístico se llevará a cabo en Córdoba. Los lucentinos que quieran inscribirse gratuitamente en esta actividad, deben inscribirse en la Concejalía de Turismo.

A finales de mes, el Palacio de los Condes de Santa acogerá (25 de septiembre) la conferencia de Miquel Cuenca, presidente de Juventudes Musicales de España y la Biblioteca Municipal será escenario (30 de septiembre) de un recital de poesía y música judías en la Edad Media con motivo del Año Nuevo Judío “Rosh Hashaná”.

Por último, Manuel Lara se ha referido como una de las actividades de mayor difusión de la red a una nueva edición de “Pequeños descubridores”, el concurso de microrrelatos infantiles que se ideó en Lucena y que se convoca a nivel de las 22 localidades de la Red de Juderías dentro del proyecto Benjamín de Sefarad dedicado a difundir el patrimonio histórico sefardí entre la población más joven.
