El VII Encuentro de Mayores de Lucena se centra en una conferencia del coach Luis Miguel Méndez

Enmarcado dentro del proyecto “Lucena te cuida y acompaña”, el ayuntamiento conmemora el Día Internacional de las Personas Mayores, jornada en la que se celebra el VII Encuentro de Mayores de Lucena con una conferencia a cargo del coach Luis Miguel Méndez

A través del Área de Políticas Sociales, Vivienda y Familias, el consistorio ha impulsado un nuevo Programa de Actividades para Personas Mayores que se enmarca dentro de los objetivos del proyecto de atención a la soledad no deseada en este sector de la población que reside tanto en Lucena como en las pedanías de Jauja y las Navas del Selpillar.

Según ha explicado Miriam Ortiz, responsable de esta área municipal, “las personas mayores se encuentran en el centro de nuestras políticas y con esta jornada pretendemos agrupar todas las acciones posibles para un envejecimiento activo, el bienestar emocional y la atención a la soledad no deseada que posibilite la prevención de posibles enfermedades y la mejora de la condición tanto física como mental”.

Por su parte, Irene Aguilera, concejal delegada de Servicios Sociales ha destacado la importancia de “ofrecer a nuestros mayores este tipo de herramientas que les permitan vivir con alegría y felicidad a través de su bienestar físico y emocional. Aguilera ha añadido que esta jornada se completa con una obra de teatro, “Sol-edad, el tiempo de María” el próximo 17 de noviembre y ha destacado las cualidades del ponente Luis Miguel Méndez.

Méndez ha reconocido sentirse muy ilusionado por compartir esta jornada con los jóvenes mayores de nuestra ciudad y ha explicado que el objetivo principal es inspirarles y motivarles para cambiar sus vidas a través de un envejecimiento activo y positivo con humor y mucho amor.
