Lucena dedica sus jornadas anuales de Historia al 400 aniversario del Título de Ciudad

El Ayuntamiento dedicará sus jornadas históricas anuales al IV centenario de la concesión a Lucena como Título de Ciudad. En ellas, participarán diferentes catedráticos, doctores en Historia Moderna y cronistas de la localidad. Las actividades, que se realizarán los días 12 y 13 de abril, se desarrollarán en el Palacio de los Condes de Santa Ana.

La concejal de Protocolo, Teresa Alonso, presentaba junto con el doctor en Historia Moderna, José Calvo Poyato, las jornadas que servirán para conmemorar el 400 aniversario de Lucena como ciudad La programación estará definida por varios coloquios y conferencias protagonizadas por José Luis Corral Lafuente, catedrático de Historia Medieval; José Calvo Poyato, doctor en Historia Moderna; Soledad Gómez Navarro, profesora de Historia Moderna; y Joaquín Alfredo Abras Santiago, cronista oficial de Lucena.

Lucena celebra el aniversario durante este año 2018 con actividades que tienen como finalidad mostrar el entorno histórico que rodeaba el municipio cuando consiguió el título de ciudad. En este sentido, José Luis Corral abrirá el programa explicando el significado de ese reconocimiento en el Antiguo Régimen; José Calvo, por su parte, mostrará a los asistentes el crecimiento demográfico que experimentó la localidad en 1618; Soledad Gómez hará hincapié en el marco histórico de Lucena cuando consiguió el título; y el cronista Joaquín Alfredo Abras expondrá las ‘postales lucentinas’ con la finalidad de presentar la realidad de la época.

Por su parte, la concejal ha destacado que “dentro del programa participan ponentes importantes con una gran trayectoria profesional y que se encuentran en activo”. Asimismo, ha añadido que “son unas jornadas gratuitas, de calidad y dirigidas a todos los perfiles de población”. Durante la sesión informativa, José Calvo ha hecho hincapié en la necesidad de este tipo de conferencias para que los ciudadanos conozcan “la importancia de los símbolos hace 400 años”.

Las inscripciones, que están disponibles del 1 al 10 de abril, se podrán realizar a través del correo electrónico protocolo@aytolucena.es o llamando al teléfono 957 500 410. Todas las conferencias son gratuitas e irán acompañadas de un coloquio donde los participantes responderán preguntas.
