Lucena acoge un encuentro de turismo accesible

Lucena será escenario del primer encuentro andaluz de turismo accesible con una jornada de visita a los principales recursos monumentales y culturales en la que está prevista la participación de medio centenar de usuarios de sillas de ruedas y personas con discapacidad.

La necrópolis judía, símbolo de la accesibilidad vinculada al turismo en Lucena, ha sido el escenario elegido para presentar esta jornada de convivencia que tendrá lugar el próximo martes 5 de junio con unas cien personas llegadas de diferentes provincias andaluzas, contando los acompañantes de los turistas con movilidad reducida.

El delegado de Turismo, Manuel Lara, ha puesto de manifiesto la “singularidad de esta cita” durante una comparecencia en la que ha estado acompañado por Juan Romero y Juan de Dios Vallecillo, representantes de las asociaciones Cota Cero y AMFE, respectivamente, y Antonio Rabasco, presidente del Centro Comercial Abierto (CCA) Eliosana, y José Antonio García, coordinador local de la Fundación Tu Historia, entidades colaboradoras en esta actividad.

La visita turística, tras la llegada a Lucena, comenzará en la propia necrópolis judía para seguir a continuación por la parroquia de San Mateo y el Castillo del Moral. Tras el almuerzo, la jornada seguirá de por las edificios solariegos del Palacio de los Condes de Santa Ana y Casa de los Mora para concluir en el Auditorio Municipal.

Para Juan Romero, este viaje constituye “una buena oportunidad de mostrar al exterior los grandes avances que en materia de accesibilidad está materializando Lucena, con más de 500 comercios y muchos bares completamente adaptados y sin barreras arquitectónicas”.

En esa misma línea, Juan de Dios Vallecillo ha destacado “las importantes posibilidades que se abren para la ciudad, si conseguimos trasladar que Lucena es un destino turístico accesible donde se da el mismo trato a los turistas con discapacidad”.

En el Castillo del Moral, el único edificio municipal con algunas zonas no accesibles por su arquitectura medieval, la visita se completará con un recorrido en imágenes mediante gafas de realidad virtual facilitadas para la ocasión por el CCA Eliosana.
