La Mancomunidad de la Subbética se incorpora a la Asociación de Ecoturismo de España

La Asociación de Ecoturismo, es un colectivo sin ánimo de lucro creado en 2010 para fomentar el turismo sostenible en los espacios protegidos compuesto principalmente por asociaciones de empresarios de turismo ubicadas en espacios protegidos y administraciones públicas implicadas en la gestión turística de estos espacios.

En mayo del pasado año,  la Mancomunidad de la Subbética  con la conformidad de todos los entes turísticos de la comarca, solicitó la participación de la entidad como destino turístico sostenible dentro de la ASOCIACIÓN DE ECOTURISMO DE ESPAÑA, que hoy se ha ratificado en el seno de su Asamblea General Ordinaria.

Una vez integrados en la Asociación, todas las empresas turísticas de la comarca podrán adherirse al Club de Ecoturismo de España, al objeto de promocionar y comercializar sus productos turísticos de “ECOTURISMO” en el mercado español y europeo.Para ello, Según Lope Ruiz, Presidente de la Mancomunidad de la Subbética: “en un breve espacio de tiempo convocaremos una reunión con las empresas de actividades y turismo activo para explicarles de que manera pueden ellos sacarles partido al CLUB DE ECOTURISMO y utilizar sus herramientas”.

Como puntos a favor,  que han permitido a la Mancomunidad de la Subbética Cordobesa integrarse dentro de la Asociación Nacional de Ecoturismo y al Club de Ecoturismo de España,  junto a otros destinos como Sierra Nevada, Sierra de Cazorla y  el Parque Nacional de Doñana,  han  sido los siguientes:

  • Estar integrados dentro del Parque Natural de las Sierras Subbéticas y Geoparque Mundial de la Unesco.
  • Contar con la Carta Europea de Turismo Sostenible (CETS) con 22 empresas adheridas.
  • Ser un destino SICTED, Sistema Integral de Calidad Turística en el Destino con 10 localidades adheridas.
  • Y contar con un Centro de Iniciativas Turísticas en el que está implicado el sector empresarial de la comarca.

Dentro del Plan de Acción Turística de la Mancomunidad de la Subbética, se plantea trabajar en proyectos turísticos respetuosos con el patrimonio natural y que permitan la creación de productos turísticos vinculados con el ecoturismo, para ello participar en esta Asociación y por ende en el CLUB de Ecoturismo marcará un paso más en la consecución de estos objetivos.
