La delegación de Servicios Sociales incrementó su presupuesto un 16 por ciento en 2017

El programa de mayor presupuesto de la delegación de  Servicios Sociales, Atención a la Dependencia, contó el pasado ejercicio con una cuantía de 2,4 millones de euros, lo que supuso cerca de un 20 por ciento  más de presupuesto que en 2016, gracias según la concejal delegada de esta área, Teresa Alonso, a la apuesta de la Junta de Andalucía por el ámbito de la dependencia.  Según la memoria, el pasado ejercicio 450 personas fueron usuarios de la ley de dependencia en Lucena y 283 fueron beneficiarios del servicio de ayuda a domicilio.

Alonso, destacaba que la memoria anual de Servicios Sociales, viene a reflejar el compromiso municipal con mayores, infancia y familia. En este sentido, la edil municipal, hacía referencia al aumento de las actividades destinadas a los mayores o la duplicación de la atención a familias,  gracias a la subvención destinada al recibo de agua.

En 2017, destacó Alonso, se puso en marcha un nuevo taller de jardinería e inserción sociolaboral, se retomó el programa de envejecimiento activo, y los presupuesto participativos pudieron llevar a cabo las actividades “Verano de cine” y “Ocio saludable en familia”. Además, también arrancó el Plan Local de Salud, que estará concluido, anunció,  en los próximos meses.

La directora de Servicios Sociales, María José Rodríguez, también informaba del programa de contratación con cerca de 800.000 euros de presupuesto, o 553 ayudas de emergencia social y 273 destinadas a familias, alcanzando un presupuesto de 173.000 euros en 2017.

El programa de cambios de clase, según Rodríguez,   ha contado con una cuantía de 28.300 euros por parte del ayuntamiento y también se han organizado actividades en aldeas y barrios con el objeto de acercar las  iniciativas  a estos núcleos gracias a jornadas de convivencia, de mayores o ludotecas.

La directora de Servicios Sociales, destacaba también otros programas como atención al anciano, Lucena ante las drogas, Verano sin Alcohol,  Escuela de Padres o la apertura durante todo el año, a excepción del mes de agosto, del Centro de Atención Básica al Inmigrante.
