La sala Ö Gallery de Las Navas del Selpillar dedica su nueva exposición a la obra y vida de Picasso

Fotografías, bibliografías y libros ilustrados componen esta colección situada en las Bodegas Herederos Ángel Lara

“Miradas sobre Picasso” es el título de la nueva exposición que acoge la sala Ö Gallery, un espacio de creación, formación e investigación contemporánea ubicado en las Bodegas Herederos Ángel Lara de la pedanía lucentina de las Navas del Selpillar, que esta mañana ha visitado el alcalde de Lucena, Aurelio Fernández, junto al concejal de Cultura y Turismo, Francisco Barbancho, y la alcaldesa pedánea, Carolina Cierto.

Su directora, Pepa Cano, ha explicado que “con motivo del 51 aniversario del fallecimiento de Pablo Picasso el pasado 8 de abril, Ö Gallery ha diseñado una muestra comisariada por Antonio Sánchez, con una cuidada representación de más de una veintena de fotografías de su vida, numerosas bibliografías sobre la obra y vida, junto con libros ilustrados y enriquecidos con estampas del artista universal”.

La colección original de estos archivos históricos recoge testimonios de fotógrafos que han capturado instantes del pintor y escultor malagueño, entre los que se encuentran Brassaï, Robert Capa o Edward Quinn, así como relatos y anécdotas o entrevistas y conversaciones inéditas para aquellas personas que quieran conocer más sobre la figura de este artista.

Aurelio Fernández ha querido trasladar su felicitación a Pepa Cano y Ángel Lara por “conjugar en el mismo espacio una bodega de vino con una galería de arte”, al mismo tiempo que ha invitado a todos los lucentinos a visitar esta nueva exposición y contemplar “este pequeño rincón que guarda grandes tesoros”.
