El PP tacha al alcalde de “sumisión frente a la Junta de Andalucía” para defender los intereses de Lucena

El portavoz del PP, Paco Huertas ha vuelto a tachar al alcalde de sumiso y de mantener una actitud de desidia frente a la Junta de Andalucía a la hora de defender los asuntos que revisten interés para Lucena como, según Huertas, ha ocurrido en materia de educación y en concreto en el asunto de la reparación de la techumbre del colegio público Ntra. Sra. del Carmen, un centro que viene sufriendo en una de sus aulas problemas de desprendimiento a consecuencia de la lluvia.

Una incidencia puesta de manifiesto por el grupo municipal del PP en enero de este año mediante una moción en la que los populares dejaban patente la necesidad urgente de acometer estas obras ante el temor de profesores y alumnos por la situación generada y que obligó al traslado de los niños a otra dependencia del centro.

En este sentido Huertas ha recordado que entonces la delegada de Educación, Encarnación Camacho acusó al PP de generar alarmismo anunciando al mismo tiempo la pronta intervención de la consejería de Eduación. Pese a esto, y tal y como ha informado el portavoz popular, a día de hoy no se ha iniciado el proceso para poner en marcha las obras de reparación y tanto la oposición como el centro desconocen el estado en que se encuentra esta actuación. Para Huertas se trata de un nuevo ejemplo de la complacencia del equipo de gobierno hacia la Junta de Andalucía

El portavoz del PP también se ha referido a la situación de los alumnos de la Escuela de Hostelería y de la Escuela Oficial de Idiomas pendientes de la reparación del edificio en el que recibían sus clases. Sobre este particular, Huertas se ha preguntado si tienen garantizado los alumnos el inicio del curso, si el equipo de gobierno está al margen de este problema o se lava las manos para que sea los propios equipos de dirección de estas escuelas o la delegación territorial los que aporten una solución.

Entre tanto el PP ha lanzado un mensaje de apoyo al conjunto de la comunidad educativa lucentina ofreciéndose para colaborar en el desarrollo y buen funcionamiento de la educación en nuestra ciudad.
