El Patronato Deportivo Municipal celebra la gala de los XVI Premios del Deporte Lucentino

El Patronato Deportivo Municipal y el Ayuntamiento de Lucena reunieron en el Auditorio Municipal una buena representación del deporte local en la gala de entrega de los XVI Premios del Deporte Lucentino en una cita que también sirvió para reconocer a personas y empresas por su trayectoria de apoyo a la práctica deportiva.

La fiesta del deporte de Lucena brindó un merecido homenaje al atletismo local, aupado a la élite nacional tras el ascenso la pasada temporada del CD Surco Aventura a División de Honor, categoría en la que compite con los mejores clubes de España. Así, el equipo se alzaba con el premio al mejor club mientras que el atleta Diego de la Fuente, baluarte de esta formación, recibía el premio al mejor deportista en categoría individual masculina.

El protagonismo del atletismo quedó compartido con el Club Natación Lucena, representado en dos premios: a la mejor deportista en categoría individual femenina con la nadadora Elia María Cuenca y al mejor entrenador con Andrés Muñoz.

Por el escenario del auditorio lucentino también pasaron los responsables del equipo de discapacitados del C.D. Lucecor (Premio al Deporte Accesible), del Campeonato de Andalucía Escolar y Base de Gimnasia Artística (Premio al Mejor Evento Deportivo), del CEIP San José de Calasanz (Premio al Mejor Centro Educativo en la Promoción de la Actividad Físico-Deportiva) y de Milar Lucena (Premio a la Empresa Colaboradora).

En el plano individual, la gala del deporte lucentino ofreció un reconocimiento a Juan López Santaella y José Cantero García, ambos se llevaron la Mención Especial al Mérito Deportivo; lo mismo que Ana Porras Muñoz, que recibió el gran aplauso de la noche al recoger su galardón como abonada del PDM a sus 84 años.
