El pasado día 8 de enero arrancó en Lucena el Intercambio Juvenil ‘Follow the crops for your health’ congregando a 40 jóvenes de toda Europa

Lituania, Letonia, Polonia, Hungría, Rumanía, Italia, Georgia, Reino Unido (habrá participantes de País de Galés, Irlanda del Norte e Inglaterra) a los que se han sumado jóvenes lucentinos.Durante 12 días, los participantes trabajarán para huir del sedentarismo, buscando en las raíces de la cultura mediterránea un estilo de vida saludable y deportiva. Para ello, durante la duración del mismo, los jóvenes harán deporte y mantendrán una dieta sana y equilibrada.

Durante el intercambio, los habitantes de Lucena podrán integrarse en las actividades sin importar su edad, puesto que se desarrollarán en El Coso sesiones diarias de yoga y pilates entre otros deportes, juegos de orientación en la Sierra de Aras, un flashmob en plena Plaza Nueva y muchas más cosas.

Además, se visitarán las instalaciones deportivas municipales y gracias a la colaboración del laureado club Koyro, los participantes conocerán de primera mano distintas disciplinas de las artes marciales. También hay prevista una ruta senderista por Zuheros, en plena Sierra Subbética al que también podrán apuntarse todos los jóvenes lucentinos que quieran, al igual que con una visita turística a Córdoba.

Este Intercambio Juvenil, auspiciado por el programa Erasmus + es el segundo que se desarrolla en nuestra ciudad en menos de un mes y supone el pistoletazo de salida a un intenso mes de trabajo que traerá a nuestra ciudad, del 19 al 21 de enero, a otra Visita Preparatoria de un futuro intercambio juvenil que se celebrará en marzo, y a un curso de formación internacional en el que más de 30 trabajadores juveniles de toda Europa, llegarán a Lucena para formarse entre el 21 y el 28 de Enero sobre nuevas técnicas de empleabilidad para jóvenes.

Sin embargo, las actividades juveniles y europeas no se limitarán a Lucena, toda vez que está previsto que en febrero se celebre otro Intercambio Juvenil en Jauja, y se está trabajando para que Las Navas del Selpillar pueda acoger otro en próximas fechas.

El impacto económico directo para nuestra ciudad supera los 112.000 euros, debiéndose añadir el dinero que los participantes en las actividades gastan en compras, ocio, turismo, etc. Siendo inestimable sin duda el impacto publicitario de Lucena en toda Europa, gracias a este tipo de actividades.
