El deportista lucentino Paco Huertas sube al podium del Campeonato Europeo de Mountain Bike 24H

El deportista de Lucena Paco Huertas ha vuelto a dar muestras de su capacidad de resitencia encima de una bicicleta. En este caso, el veterano biker ha conseguido un notable resultado en el Wembo European de Mountain Bike 2019.

Este Campeonato de Europa en bicicleta de montaña, disputado en la localidad portuguesa de Penafiel, comprende tres modalidades de 6 h, 12 h, y 24 horas. Unas pruebas de extrema de resistencia y más si cabe en la que participó Paco Huertas, ya que el lucentino realizó la más dura completando un día encima de la bicicleta.

En un circuito cerrado, Huertas hizo un total de 284 kilómetros, en 23 horas y 14 minutos, para terminar en tercera posición de su categoría Master 40 y llegando en el puesto 19 de la clasificación general.

Un podium que viene a redondear las últimas actuaciones del deportista de élite de Lucena, ya que también ha conseguido el subcampeonato de España de 12 horas en carretera y un tercer puesto en el Campeonato de España de 24 horas también de carretera.
