El Coro del Conservatorio de Lucena ofrecerá un concierto junto a la Coral de Antequera el 18 de febrero en el Auditorio

El Coro del Conservatorio de Lucena y el conjunto coral San Sebastián de Antequera, bajo la dirección de Esther Sanzo, ofrecerán el próximo sábado, 18 de febrero a las21:00 horas en el auditorio municipal el concierto titulado ‘Cantos para América’.

El concejal delegado de cultura, Manuel Lara Cantizani, ha anunciado que se trata de una iniciativa en la que colabora tanto el ayuntamiento de Lucena como el de Antequera en el marco de la Fundación Ciudades Medias del centro de Andalucía y a la que se incorporará la Diputación provincial de Córdoba con una aportación económica que oscilará entre los 10.000 y los 12.000 euros.

La primera de estas agrupaciones comenzó su actividad en mayo de 2013 por iniciativa del departamento de lenguaje musical y coro del Conservatorio Profesional de Música Maestro Chicano Muñoz. Formada por profesores del centro y miembros de la comunidad educativa, en su corta andadura ha interpretado obras de nivel junto a destacados solistas y músicos.

Miguel Beato, presidente del coro lucentino ha explicado que “este concierto, cuya entrada tiene un precio de 5 euros, servirá para sufragar el desplazamiento a Nueva York de esta formación música”. Las entradas pueden adquirirse en la Biblioteca Pública Municipal. Por su parte, la coral de Antequera nació en 1990 y su repertorio abarca todos los géneros desde el Renacimiento hasta nuestros días especializándose principalmente en el barroco y en la polifonía popular nacional e internacional.
