El brote de Covid detectado en el Centro de Día de San Juan de Dios de Lucena alcanza los 11 positivos

El centro de Día de la Fundación San Juan de Dios ha sido clausurado debido a un brote de contagios por Covid-19 que alcanza ya 11 positivos, de los 14 usuarios que utilizan estas dependencias. El brote no ha afectado a ninguno de los trabajadores del centro.

Del total de los contagiados, cuatro de ellos han tenido que  ser  ingresados en el Hospital Infanta Margarita de Cabra, y uno ha precisado su traslado a la UCI; aunque según fuentes del centro, evolucionan favorablemente.

Los usuarios de la residencia y del centro de día, siguen el protocolo Covid y utilizan distintas dependencias, por lo que no han tenido ningún tipo de contacto. Incluso, según fuentes de la Residencia, utilizan entradas y salidas independientes y los trabajadores de uno y otro servicio son distintos.

Los servicios sanitarios han realizado el rastreo correspondiente a usuarios y familiares, y será epidemiología, la que confirme cuándo se podrán reabrir las instalaciones del Centro de Día, debido a que aunque el próximo domingo se cumplen 10 días de la detección de los contagios, hay usuarios a los que se les debe repetir la prueba PCR.

Por otro lado, en el caso de  la residencia, los usuarios han recibido esta misma semana la tercera dosis de la vacuna, un vial que aún no ha sido suministrado a los usuarios del Centro de Día.
