El ayuntamiento presenta el proyecto de accesibilidad cognitiva para personas con trastorno autista

La edil de Servicios Sociales, Carmen Gallardo ha presentado el proyecto de accesibilidad para personas con trastornos del espectro autista y ha explicado que desde el consistorio, atendiendo a las necesidades especiales que presentan las personas con trastorno autista, ha puesto en marcha un proyecto de señalización que permite a estas personas manejarse en el entorno de manera autónoma, eficaz y segura.

De esta actuación no sólo se podrán beneficiar las personas con autismo sino que también encontrarán beneficios personas de avanzada de edad, personas con dificultades intelectuales, personas con escasos o ningunos estudios o personas procedentes de otros países.

El proyecto se enmarca dentro del Plan Local de Salud de Lucena y cuenta con la coordinación y el asesoramiento de la Asociación de Autismo de Córdoba a través de su delegación de Lucena.

La ejecución del proyecto se llevará a cabo en dos fases diferenciadas. La primera comprenderá la señalización del exterior de edificios municipales, la señalización de autobuses urbanos y marquesinas para permitir un adecuado uso de dicho transporte y la señalización de pasos de cebra para facilitar la deambulación por el entorno vial.

La segunda etapa vendrá a cubrir la señalización interior de centros escolares añadiendo caminos indicados para llegar hasta las diferentes dependencias de los colegios y la señalización de parques infantiles, ofreciendo información visual sobre seguridad y forma de utilizar los diferentes aparatos.

Esta iniciativa cuenta con un presupuesto de 4.000 euros y el plazo de ejecución de la primera etapa quedará fijado dentro del primer semestre de este año quedando pendiente la ejecución de la segunda fase para el segundo semestre.

El delegado en Lucena de la Asociación de Autismo de Córdoba, Antonio González ha agradecido la colaboración del ayuntamiento en este proyecto y ha valorado muy positivamente su puesta en marcha por cuanto va a beneficiar a todas las personas que padecen autismo u otras necesidades especiales y ha recordado que la sede, en nuestra ciudad, en Avda. Luis Alberto de Cuenca, está abierta para cualquier persona que pueda necesitar asesoramiento o apoyo tal y como vienen prestando a unas treinta familias en Lucena y otras de municipios del sur de Córdoba.
