El Ayuntamiento inicia un plan de poda en la arboleda en distintas zonas de Lucena

La delegación de Obras del Ayuntamiento de Lucena ha puesto en marcha un plan de poda para el mantenimiento de la arboleda en distintos espacios de la ciudad como el Paseo de Rojas, la Plaza de Andalucía o la zona del Polideportivo. La actuación se  acomete con medios propios a través de personal de la delegación municipal de jardinería.

El concejal delegado de Obras, Javier Pineda, indicaba que se han arrendado plataformas elevadoras y se adquirido una trituradora para el tratamiento de deshechos.

La actuación con anterioridad se ha llevado a cabo en el Boulevard de los Santos, tras la petición de los propietarios de las empresas. Aquí se han adecentado los jardines y se han podado las palmeras. En este sentido, Pineda explicó que a las distintas palmeras de Lucena les ha afectado una plaga de picudo por lo que se les está aplicando un tratamiento para sanearlas e incluso algunas tendrán que sustituirse por otra variedad.
