El Ayuntamiento activa un dispositivo especial de seguridad y limpieza para Semana Santa

La Delegación de Seguridad Ciudadana activará el próximo domingo, inicio oficial de la Semana Santa 2018, un dispositivo especial coordinado por Policía Local que movilizará durante toda la semana alrededor de 50 efectivos de los diferentes cuerpos y fuerzas de seguridad que prestan servicio en la ciudad.

A falta de celebrar mañana jueves la última reunión técnica de coordinación entre los responsables de Policía Local, Policía Nacional y Guardia Civil, desde Seguridad Ciudadana se adelanta que Policía Local movilizará durante toda la semana una veintena de agentes en torno a un programa de vigilancia especial durante el recorrido por las calles del centro histórico de las diferentes cofradías.  Como viene siendo habitual, los barrios periféricos y los polígonos industriales serán objeto de vigilancia por la Guardia Civil mientras que Policía Nacional asumirá principalmente la vigilancia en los accesos urbanos.

En relación a la participación de Policía Local en este dispositivo, el concejal de Seguridad Ciudadana, Francisco Adame ha señalado que “el plan de acción tendrá como novedad el mayor control de los accesos a las calles colindantes de las iglesias con especial atención durante el Jueves y Viernes Santo, días de gran concentración, para garantizar la seguridad de los ciudadanos y de las propias cofradías”.

Asimismo, Adame ha agradecido “la buena coordinación entre los diferentes cuerpos de seguridad para llevar a cabo el plan específico durante toda la Semana Santa” al tiempo que ha hecho un llamamiento a la “colaboración ciudadana” para asegurar que las cofradías puedan desarrollar en  “sin problemas” las estaciones de penitencia.

Refuerzo del servicio de limpieza

El Ayuntamiento de Lucena afronta también la celebración de la Semana Santa con un refuerzo del servicio de limpieza urbana con un plan especial en el que participarán a diario 26 operarios para velar por la limpieza de calles y espacios públicos.

Como complemento a la limpieza habitual de la ciudad, el dispositivo diseñado por la Delegación de Servicios Operativos incluye una servicio extraordinario de limpieza del recorrido de las procesiones desde una hora antes de su inicio.

De cara a los días grandes de la Semana Santa, las otras dos acciones de limpieza integral de la zona  centro, con especial atención a las calles peatonales, tendrán lugar en la madrugada del Viernes Santo y a primera hora del Sábado Santo tras los momentos de mayor afluencia por las calles de Lucena.
