Doce nuevos positivos en la residencia de Amara tras la realización de test PCH

En la residencia de la Asociación Pro-Personas con Discapacidad Psíquica Virgen de Araceli se contabilizan 12 nuevos positivos tras la realización durante la jornada de hoy de los test PCR para la detección del COVID-19.

Estos nuevos casos se suman a los cuatro ya detectados hace más de una semana y correspondientes a  una trabajadora del centro y a tres residentes que desde ese momento se encontraban aislados. Al resto de los alumnos y al personal de la residencia, junto con familiares de los residentes se les realizará la prueba a lo largo del día de mañana.

Ante esta nueva situación se han tomado medidas drásticas de seguridad, como el cierre del comedor de la residencia o el confinamiento más severo de todos los alumnos  con el objeto de que no se propague la pandemia.  Se da la circunstancia de que hace una semana también se realizó la prueba a los residentes y trabajadores del centro arrojando un resultado negativo.
