Diputación acomete obras de mejora en la Vía Verde del Aceite a su paso por la Subbética

El Diputado de Medio Natural y Carreteras, Francisco Palomares junto al Presidente de La Mancomunidad de La Subbética Lope Ruiz,  el Alcalde de Lucena Juan Pérez y el Coordinador del área del Parque de Maquinaria, Juan Miguel Sánchez (Alcalde de Carcabuey) visitaban los trabajos acometidos en la Vía Verde del Aceite a su paso por la Subbética.

Las obras se encuadran dentro  del Programa de Fomento del Empleo Agrario (PFEA) de la Delegación de Medio Ambiente  de la Diputación de Córdoba, financiadas por esta institución, la Junta de Andalucía y el Servicio Público  de Empleo Estatal (SEPE) para la mejora y mantenimiento de la Vías Verdes de la provincia de Córdoba.

Las actuaciones que se están llevando a cabo, consisten en el asfaltado con un doble tratamiento superficial del firme y siendo el Parque de Maquinaria de la Mancomunidad la encargada del acondicionamiento previo a la actuación.

El objeto es mejorar los tramos de la Vía en los que el firme se encuentra más deteriorado,  contemplándose una primera fase  en la que se asfaltarán  3.900m del tramos de  Lucena  y  1.100 m  del tramo entre  Cabra-Doña Mencía.

Desde la Mancomunidad destacan  la importancia que el turismo activo y de naturaleza tiene para la comarca y, sin duda, la Vía Verde que atraviesa nuestros pueblos supone un recurso que debemos incorporar como elemento de dinamización dentro de nuestro turismo de interior.
