Decepcionante empate sin goles del C.D. Ciudad de Lucena frente al Almodóvar C.F.

Al C.D. Ciudad de Lucena se le atragantó el colista de la categoría y sólo pudo empatar a cero goles frente al Almodóvar C.F. Este inesperado empate del equipo lucentino le supone un contratiempo importante y un frenazo en seco en su escalada hacía el ascenso de categoría.

El conjunto visitante, comandado por el veterano Alfonso Gutiérrez, controló bien el primer tiempo e incluso dispuso de la primera ocasión con un lanzamiento de Joaquín al larguero. En pleno atasco de juego, el Ciudad de Lucena no dispuso de muchas oportunidades en este periodo. Las más relevantes: un cabezazo de Ávalo en el primer palo y un remate de Espinosa al poste.

En el segundo acto, el Ciudad de Lucena se vuelca con todo en busca del triunfo. Monólogo del equipo lucentino que acorraló al Almodóvar en su área. Numerosas ocasiones de gol pero sin acierto en el remate final. El cuadro de Lucena lo intentó de todas las maneras posibles, sin embargo la ansiedad pudo con un equipo carente de ideas y jugando a la desesperada ante el rival más flojo de la categoría.

Al final, el C.D. Ciudad de Lucena sólo sumó un punto en una jornada donde perdieron algunos de sus rivales directos como el Puente Genil, Pozoblanco y Xerez C.D, además también empataron el Estrella San Agustín y el líder, el Cádiz B. Este mal resultado del equipo de Lucena, con descontento general de la afición lucentina, podría tener consecuencias en las próximas horas, ya que la continuidad del entrenador Fran Reina vuelve a estar en entredicho.

La próxima jornada de liga, la vigésimo cuarta, enfrentará al C.D. Pinzón y al C.D. Ciudad de Lucena, el domingo a las 12:00 horas.
