Cruz Roja española inaugura su nueva sede en Lucena

La entidad humanitaria cuenta en la actualidad con más de 150 voluntarios y  700 socios en nuestra ciudad

La Asamblea Local de Cruz Roja Española en Lucena inauguró este sábado su nueva sede en la Calle Pedro Angulo 12 de Lucena en la que ya se desarrollan todas las actividades que la institución humanitaria lleva a cabo en la localidad.

Al acto asistieron representantes de la institución a nivel provincial, el alcalde de Lucena Juan Pérez acompañado de parte de la corporación municipal y presidentes y voluntarios de distintas asambleas locales de la provincia de Córdoba que no quisieron faltar a esta importante cita.

Durante el la jornada se llevó a cabo una visita guiada por la instalaciones donde los invitados pudieron conocer los puesto de atención a usuarios de la institución, salas de trabajo, sala de voluntarios y aula de formación.

En palabras del presidente de la institución en Lucena, Antonio Beato, “esta nueva sede no es el logro de unos pocos, todo personal voluntariado, socios y colaboradores son los únicos responsables de que hoy estemos aquí”, quien finalizaba el discurso de inauguración con uno de los lemas que ha acompañado a la institución durante la celebración de sus 120 años de historia en la localidad, “que a nadie se le olvide, somos parte de la historia de Lucena”.

Y es que en este 2017 se cumplen 120 años de presencia de la institución en la localidad, desde que el 4 de Septiembre de 1897 se comenzara a atender a los soldados retornados de la Guerra hispano-americana, y a sus familias que quedaban en la localidad, estableciéndose por primera vez una de legación de la institución humanitaria en Lucena.

La asamblea local de Cruz Roja Española invita a toda persona que lo desee a conocer sus nuevas instalaciones y todos los proyectos que actualmente lleva a cabo en la localidad.
