Felisa Reyes Ortega recibirá el reconocimiento del Consejo Local de la Mujer con motivo del 8 de marzo

El Consejo Local de la Mujer rendirá un homenaje y reconocimiento a Felisa Reyes Ortega, primera mujer gitana doctora en Ciencias Naturales y Experimentales en España. La concejal delegada de Igualdad del Ayuntamiento de Lucena, María del Mar Morales, explicaba que el acto se celebrará el próximo viernes 9 de marzo a partir de las siete de la tarde en el Palacio Erisana. El homenaje estará acompañado de una lectura poética y el espectáculo de Danza Flamenca “Grito de Mujer”.

Los actos en torno al 8 de marzo, se iniciarán este jueves con el III Foro de Mujeres “Cultura e igualdad. Estereotipos femeninos en el cine, teatro, publicidad y literatura”, en la Casa de los Mora. Ese mismo día por la noche, tendrá lugar la presentación del libro “La Historia de la Reina Esther. El secreto de la reina persa”, a cargo de  Esther Bendahan, Directora de Cultura del Centro Sefarad-Israel en la Bodega El Alfolí.

El miércoles 14 de marzo, se celebrará en Servicios Sociales la segunda mesa Mujer y Discapacidad, organizada por Mujeres en Igualdad y AMFE. Ya el viernes  16,  la lucentina Sensi Budia presentará el poemario “Veinte teselas para un pequeño mosaico” en el Palacio de los Condes de Santa Ana, y el domingo 18 de marzo se celebrará la VI Sopaipa Solidaria organizada por la Asociación de Amas de Casa “Al-Yussana” a beneficio de Lucena Acoge. Las actividades continuarán el 20 de marzo con la conferencia de la artista visual y activista feminista Yolanda Domínguez bajo el título “Cambiar las imágenes para cambiar el mundo” en Santa Ana y el 21 de marzo, personal del Centro Municipal de Información a la Mujer, ofrecerán en las instalaciones de FEPAMIC la charla informativa “Igualdad de género”.

El programa incluye asimismo el taller “El orgullo de ser mujer” que se impartirá en las pedanías de Jauja y  Las Navas y campañas de coeducación en los distintos centros educativos de la ciudad dirigidos al alumnado de infantil de 5 años, tercero de primaria y segundo de ESO.

La concejal delegada de Igualdad, también informaba de que las mujeres del equipo de gobierno municipal realizarán un paro de dos horas el próximo jueves 8 de marzo en apoyo de la huelga feminista organizada para dicha jornada. También recordó que en el pleno de febrero se acordó apoyar el paro y todos los actos que organicen las asociaciones de mujeres.
