Alsubjer presentará un millar de firmas en el Ayuntamiento para que no se permita la apertura de más salones de juego en Lucena

La Asociación Lucentina de la Subbética de Jugadores de Azar en Rehabilitación presentará un millar de firmas en el Ayuntamiento de Lucena para que no se permita la apertura de más salones de juegos en la ciudad.

Entre las reivindicaciones de este colectivo destacan que  estos locales se sitúen a más de 500 metros de centros escolares, el establecimiento de un horario de apertura y cierre de los locales así como su cierre en horas lectivas de clase, un control riguroso de acceso a menores y autoprohibidos,  vigilancia asidua por parte de la Policía Local, limitación de este tipo de establecimientos de cara al futuro, prevalencia de la Salud Pública sobre el interés económico y unificación de legislación estatal y autonómica así como una concienciación de las entidades locales, al respecto.

Juan Chacón, presidente de Alsubjer indicaba que este tipo de negocios atrae la delincuencia y suponen una ruina económica, y solicitó a los poderes públicos la obligación de apoyar a la familia y a los menores.

Juan Redondo, secretario de  Alsubjer, indicaba que actualmente el perfil del jugador a una edad comprendida entre los 20 y los 35 años. Se suele tratar, en su mayoría de personas poliadictivas, que presentan varios problemas y que necesitan atención desde asociaciones de este tipo. Redondo, quiso dar las gracias al portavoz de Izquierda Unida en el Ayuntamiento por la propuesta que ha presentado en el Ayuntamiento, y en la que defiende la salud pública y la concienciación sobre este problema.

Actualmente Alsubjer atiende en Lucena  60 enfermos y a 85 familiares  por problemas de adicción al juego.
