Vecinos de los aledaños del parque Mariana Pineda denuncian al PP el abandono que sufre el barrio

Tras la denuncia formulada al alcalde Lucena por más de un centenar de vecinos de los aledaños del Parque Mariana Pineda y, según señalan,  sin que el Ayuntamiento haya ofrecido respuesta alguna a dicho escrito, el Grupo Municipal del Partido Popular ha sido invitado por los representantes vecinales a conocer en primera persona los problemas de esta zona de Lucena.

Los vecinos han trasladado a los representantes populares su malestar por la falta de respuesta del alcalde, al que iba dirigido el escrito con las reivindicaciones y su actuación a modo de contestación, añaden,  sólo se ha limitado a barrer las hojas abundantes de este parque, sin que en ningún momento hayan sido escuchados estos vecinos por el equipo de gobierno del Partido Socialista.

El Grupo Popular, encabezado por su portavoz, Paco Huertas, ha podido comprobar el estado de abandono de este barrio lucentino, del que denuncian “la  suciedad, el  asfalto en mal estado, socavones en las aceras, rejillas completamente atoradas que producen bolsas de agua siempre que llueve, falta de rejillas en otros casos con el peligro que conlleva estos huecos vacíos, jardines un tanto mejorables, fuentes de agua potable inutilizadas, escasa iluminación y una inseguridad manifiesta que se produce por las noches dado lo apartado del lugar que convierte esta zona en foco de consumo de drogas, pintadas de desaprensivos y sensación de desamparo”.

Los vecinos han exigido al Partido Popular una actuación integral de choque en el barrio y principalmente,  un mantenimiento constante y periódico para evitar que esta degradación se convierta en algo  crónico.

Por su parte, el Portavoz Popular, Paco Huertas, se ha comprometido con los vecinos “a trasladar todas estas justas peticiones al Equipo de Gobierno y a la Delegación de Mantenimiento, para que tome cartas en el asunto y que dote de partidas presupuestarias estas actuaciones que no son tanto por el montante económico que suponen sino más bien de voluntad política de atención a los barrios que este gobierno municipal socialista ha dejado de atender durante años”.
