Un incendio y posterior explosión causa graves daños en la empresa Ferroaras

En torno a las siete y veinte minutos de la mañana de este miércoles se ha producido un incendio en la empresa lucentina Ferroaras situada en el polígono de la Viñuela. El propietario de la empresa acudía rápidamente al lugar donde ya se encontraban efectivos de la Policía Local que le han impedido el acceso justo en el momento en el que se producía una fuerte explosión que ha causado graves daños a la estructura de la nave.

La deflagración ha ocasionado una densa columna de humo y daños materiales a otras empresas colindantes, afortunadamente no ha habido que lamentar daños personales.

Hasta el momento se desconocen las causas que han originado el incendio y posterior explosión cuyos efectos podrían haber sido aún mayores toda vez que en el interior de la nave existe un depósito de 1.000 litros de gasoil y latas de disolvente.

Hasta el lugar de los hechos, además de Policía Local, se han desplazado efectivos de Policía Nacional, varias dotaciones del Parque Comarcal de Bomberos con sede en Lucena así como profesionales del 061.

Se da la circunstancia de que la empresa afectada se encontraba en situación de ERTE como consecuencia de la crisis sanitaria causada por el Covid 19
