Sergio Torres y Luzi Zipitria ganadores de la XXV Ruta Ciclista MTB Ciudad de Lucena

Un total de 215 ciclistas participaron en la XXV Ruta MTB Ciudad de Lucena en lo que fue el reencuentro con las ‘Diputación Córdoba XCM Series 2019’, competiciones de BTT Media Maratón que recorre la provincia cordobesa a través de pruebas de alto nivel organizativo.

Una matinal en la que la climatología acompañó y se vivió un gran ambiente de ciclismo de montaña. La prueba, organizada por el B.C. de Montaña La Relenga, tuvo un recorrido competitivo de 50 km. y 1.200 m. de desnivel positivo acumulado donde los deportistas pudieron disfrutar de los alrededores de nuestra ciudad.

Tras una emocionante carrera, Sergio Torres impuso su poderío para irse en solitario y cruzar la línea meta de Lucena en primera posición con un tiempo de 2 horas, 7 minutos y 32 segundos. Segundo fue José Manuel Cabello y tercero el junior Julián Robles.

En cuanto a la clasificación de féminas, Luzi Zipitria se posicionó en cabeza desde el comienzo llegando a meta en solitario con un tiempo de 2 horas, 56 minutos y 41 segundos, seguida a más de 25 minutos de diferencia por las corredoras Patricia Ureña y Marta López, quienes corrieron agrupadas durante toda la prueba.

El cuadro final de ganadores por categorías fue el siguiente;

  • Cadete: Iván Aguilera.
  • Junior: Julián Robles.
  • Sub 23: Samuel Cabrera.
  • Élite: Sergio Torres y Patricia Ureña.
  • Máster 30: José Manuel Cabello y Verónica Esteo.
  • Máster 40: Francisco Jiménez y Luzi Zipitria.
  • Máster 50: Tomás Cope.
  • Máster 60: Francisco Carmona.

En el corte de cinta estuvieron presentes Alberto Lora, concejal de Deportes, Manuel Zafra, presidente del club organizador y Manuel Barea, delegado provincial de la FAC. La próxima prueba de estas ‘Diputación Córdoba XCM Series 2019´ llevará a los bikers a disputar la VII BTT Villaharta, será el próximo 6 de octubre.
