El Ayuntamiento de Lucena y el club maratón han presentado en las instalaciones de la empresa Milar Lucena, el vídeo promocional de la media maratón 10 k que se va a disputar en la ciudad el 8 de marzo de 2026.
En el acto han estado presentes, el concejal de deportes, Ángel Novillo, el presidente del club, Pedro Díaz y el gerente de Milar Lucena, Rafael Briones.
Hasta la fecha se han inscrito 479 personas, de las cuales 325 son para la media maratón y 147 para 10 k, quedando la estadística de la siguiente manera, 70% hombres y 30% mujeres.
Con respecto a la situación geográfica de los inscritos, hay que destacar que el 62% son personas que llegan de otras ciudades y el 38% de Lucena. Por provincias tenemos un 75% de cordobeses, 9% de Málaga y Sevilla, 3% de Jaén y Granada y 1% de Albacete. Además, se suman corredores de Madrid, Las Palmas, León, Guipúzcoa y Huelva.
El club más numeroso en inscritos es el Media Legua de Baena con 47 y le siguen Puente Genil con 45 y el lucentino Hermes Gym con 20.
Hasta el 1 de noviembre sigue abierto el plazo de inscripciones, por otro lado, se van sortear 2 tablets en octubre, 2 relojes en el mes de noviembre y 1 pantalla de tv en diciembre.
Según declaraciones de Ángel Novillo, es el mayor evento que organiza el Ayuntamiento de Lucena durante todo el año, así mismo anima a que haya más inscripciones de mujeres en la próxima edición.
