Presentadas las Fiestas Aracelitanas en el salón de plenos del Ayuntamiento

El pasado viernes tenía lugar en el salón de Plenos del Ayuntamiento de Lucena  la presentación oficial de la aracelitana mayor y su corte de damas de honor, los manijeros de María Stma. de Araceli, el pregonero de las Glorias de María y el autor del cartel de las Fiestas Aracelitanas.

Tradicionalmente, este acto marca el  prólogo del programa de actividades que tiene su epicentro  en el Día de la Virgen de Araceli, el primer domingo de mayo. Presidió esta presentación el alcalde de Lucena, Juan Pérez Guerrero que estuvo acompañado por la concejal delegada de Fiestas, María del Mar Morales y el hermano mayor de la Real Archicofradía de María Santísima de Araceli, Rafael Ramírez.

En primer lugar se descubrió el cartel anunciador de las Fiestas Aracelitanas  de este año, obra de Juan Pérez Cañete, ganador del concurso convocado al efecto  por el Ayuntamiento. Acto seguido fueron presentados  los manijeros de los pasos procesionales de la Virgen de Araceli de este año, que serán Jerónimo Jiménez García, el primer domingo de mayo, Antonio Miguel Nieto Villa, de la romería de y  José Luis Crespillo Guardeño, Hermano Mayor de la Cofradía del Cristo del Amor y María Santísima de la Paz, en  la romería de subida. El hermano mayor de la Real Archicofradía dio a conocer el  nombre del pregonero, Miguel Cuenca Valdivia, que será  presentado por José Pedro Moreno Víbora.

Miguel Cuenca Valdivia, es hijo predilecto de la ciudad y de la Subbética, fue reconocido en 2.017 con la Medalla de Oro al Trabajo, pertenece al Cuerpo Superior de Inspectores de Trabajo, estuvo al frente de la Vicepresidencia del INI , fue subsecretario del Ministerio de Trabajo, Director General del INEM , y presidente del Consejo Económico y Social de la provincia de Córdoba, entre otros cargos.

También fueron  presentadas la Aracelitana mayor, Elvira Cruces y su corte de damas de honor formada por Araceli Díaz, Araceli María Egea,  Tania Frías, Araceli María Lara, Araceli López y Araceli Montilla.
