Mejorana continúa poniendo en valor la importancia que tiene la reforestación de nuestro entorno, sobre todo con especies de nuestro medio ambiente
El pasado domingo, otro año más, los socios del colectivo medioambiental Mejorana estuvieron sembrando bellotas en la zona situada en la ladera sur de la Sierra de Aras. Esta zona ha sido elegida debido a la abundante erosión y falta de vegetación autóctona, por lo que esta acción de sostenibilidad pretende que en un futuro no muy lejano haga crecer frondosas encinas. En concreto han sido 1350 bellotas las que se han sembrado a lo largo de la zona señalada.
Desde Mejorana continúan poniendo en valor la importancia que tiene la reforestación de nuestro entorno, sobre todo con especies de nuestro medio ambiente.
Esta asociación medioambiental considera que ante la falta de concienciación ciudadana y el escaso apoyo de las administraciones, cada año es más difícil poder contribuir a la salvaguarda del arbolado tanto urbano como de los espacios naturales que nos rodean.
El empeño de Mejorana seguirá siendo el trabajo por la defensa de la naturaleza y el medio ambiente de nuestra ciudad y su comarca, y animan a la población a que brinden su apoyo en las diferentes tareas que realizan para una mejor calidad de vida y sostenibilidad.
