Sus 200 alumnos llevarán a escena 16 títulos con el respaldo de la Concejalía de Cultura

La Escuela de Teatro Duque de Rivas de Lucena, a través de la asociación cultural teatral A Escena, desarrolla del 22 de mayo al 2 de junio en el Palacio Erisana una nueva edición de su festival de teatro, que un año más cuenta con el patrocinio de la Delegación de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de Lucena.

La presentación de este festival, que alcanza este 2024 su vigesimoctava edición, ha reunido este miércoles a Francisco Barbancho, concejal de Cultura; Maribel Peñalver, directora de la escuela de teatro Duque de Rivas; y Paula Díaz, en representación de los 200 alumnos de entre 3 y 90 años de edad que componen la escuela.´

Todos ellos, divididos en 14 grupos por franja de edad, participarán en este festival, que llevará a escena un total de 16 títulos. Este año, como novedad, se ha colaborado con la asociación AMARA para montar la representación ‘La caja de cristal’ / ‘Pin pan clown’ (Viernes 24 de mayo, 11:30h, entrada gratuita).

Por su parte, los grupos de primaria pondrán sobre las tablas ‘La guerra de nunca acabar’ (Domingo 26 de mayo, 20:00h), ‘Las aventuras del pequeño quijote’ (Lunes 27 de mayo, 20:30h) y junto al módulo infantil las obras ‘Cardito caracol’ / ‘La isla de los pies descalzos’ (Sábado 25 de mayo, 19:00h) y ‘La zanahoria gigante’ / ‘El reino de los gastosos’ (Domingo 2 de junio, 12:00h).

En cuanto a las funciones del módulo senior, el festival incluye ‘No nos moverán’ (Miércoles 22 de mayo, 20:30h) y ‘Noche de picos pardos’ (Jueves 30 de mayo, 20:30h), mientras que el grupo de adultos representarán ‘El sueño de una noche de verano’ (Viernes 31 de mayo, 20:30h) y ‘Un marido de ida y vuelta’ (Domingo 2 de junio, 19:00h).

Completan la agenda del festival el grupo de secundaria con ‘La fábula del caballero lobo, un cuento para adultos’ (Viernes 24 de mayo, 20:30h); el módulo de juvenil con ‘Las Brujas de Salem’ (Martes 28 de mayo, 20:30h); la adaptación en inglés del popular cuento Alicia en el País de las Maravillas ‘Alice in wonderland’ (Miércoles 29 de mayo, 20:30h); y ‘La Venganza de Don Mendo’ (Sábado 25 de mayo, 19:00h) a cargo de la escuela municipal de teatro de Antequera.

Las entradas para asistir al festival –el precio para cada obra oscila entre los 3 y los 4 euros— saldrán a la venta a partir del próximo lunes y se podrán adquirir en la propia oficina de la escuela de teatro, en las instalaciones del Palacio Erisana, de lunes a jueves en horario de tarde de 16:30 a 19:30, o los miércoles de 10:30 a 12:00, y además en la propia taquilla desde una hora antes de comenzar la función.

Como cada año, desde la Escuela de Teatro Duque de Rivas se hace coincidir la celebración de este festival con el periodo de matriculación para el próximo curso y el plazo de inscripción para la ludoteca de verano, iniciativas que pretenden la promoción del teatro entre la población local, especialmente
