La Delegación de Mercados del Ayuntamiento de Lucena ha acordado, junto con el colectivo de vendedores, la celebración de una nueva edición del mercadillo nocturno, que tendrá lugar el viernes 15 de agosto, en horario de tarde, de 19:00 a 00:00 horas en el recinto ferial. Esta cita comercial extraordinaria se enmarca en la campaña de verano y supone el segundo año que se organiza en este formato, tras la buena acogida del anterior.
Para posibilitar este evento, se ha decidido suspender el mercadillo habitual del miércoles de esa misma semana, día 13 de agosto, dado que la normativa actual solo permite una celebración semanal. Esta limitación responde a la ordenanza vigente, que está actualmente en fase de revisión para permitir la celebración de varios mercadillos semanales en periodos extraordinarios, como el verano, una modificación que se encuentra en trámite administrativo.
Desde el Ayuntamiento se destaca el carácter consensuado de esta medida, fruto del diálogo entre la Delegación de Mercados y los representantes del sector comercial. Según ha indicado el responsable del área municipal, Francisco Barbancho, “con esta propuesta se busca ofrecer una alternativa atractiva para vecinos y visitantes en horario más amable durante los meses de calor, por lo que agradezco al colectivo de vendedores su colaboración y predisposición para sacar adelante esta iniciativa”.
