Lucena acogerá el Congreso Regional del Día Mundial de la Diabetes bajo el lema ‘Por un mundo sin diabetes’

El próximo sábado, 19 de noviembre, el Palacio Erisana acoge un Congreso Regional con motivo del Día Mundial de la Diabetes bajo el lema ‘Por un mundo sin diabetes’, un encuentro organizado por la Delegación Municipal de Servicios Sociales y la Asociación Regional de Diabetes ‘La Sierra’.La delegada de Servicios Sociales, Teresa Alonso, ha anunciado que la jornada comenzará a las 10:00 horas con un desayuno saludable. A continuación, tendrá lugar el acto inaugural y comenzará el ciclo de conferencias previsto en el que participarán profesionales de la medicina, la abogacía e incluso adiestradores de perros que detectan hipoglucemias.

Cerrará este congreso el ex ministro, Bernat Soria, doctor en medicina y científico del Centro Andaluz de Biología Molecular y Medicina Regenerativa. Alonso ha indicado que el congreso está enfocado “hacia la prevención y la importancia del apoyo de las administraciones en el campo de la investigación”. Por su parte, Toñi Ruiz, presidenta de la Asociación Regional de Diabetes La Sierra, ha destacado la importancia de este congreso dada la calidad profesional de los ponentes. Ruiz ha explicado que en la actualidad la asociación cuenta con numerosos lucentinos inscritos, de ahí la decisión de celebrar este encuentro en nuestra ciudad. Además, ha agradecido a las empresas colaboradoras su impulso para poder hacer realidad esta cita.
