El concejal delegado de Obras, Javier Pineda anunciaba que ya se ha procedido al asfaltado de esta glorieta
Aunque en un principio se habló de la primera semana del mes de agosto para la finalización de las obras, los trabajos para la conclusión de la rotonda de la carretera del Calvario en la confluencia de la antigua Nacional 331 se retrasarán algunos días más. Así lo anunciaba el concejal delegado de Obras del Ayuntamiento de Lucena, Javier Pineda, quien indicó que ya se ha realizado el aglomerado de esta infraestructura y a mediados de mes se espera que esté concluida.
La nueva glorieta, que ha sido financiada por Diputación Provincial de Córdoba cuenta con un presupuesto de 300.000 euros. Contará con un diámetro de 46 metros y siete ramales de salida. Se trata de una infraestructura de gran envergadura que permitirá ordenar el tránsito en una de las zonas con mayor intensidad circulatoria del municipio.
