La residencia escolar Miguel Álvarez de Sotomayor colabora con el Banco de Alimentos y el Comedor Social Virgen de Araceli

Desde el comienzo del estado de alarma, la residencia escolar Miguel Álvarez de Sotomayor ha estado colaborando con distintas asociaciones asistenciales de la ciudad como es el caso del Banco de Alimentos y el Comedor Social Virgen de Araceli mediante la entrega de alimentos de distinto tipo.

Una de estas entregas tuvo lugar el pasado 8 de junio y el encargado de retirar los alimentos donados fue Antonio Moyano coordinador del Banco de Alimentos en Lucena. Cabe significar que fue la tercera entrega que realizaba la residencia a favor de esta entidad.

En el día de ayer fue el turno del comedor social, institución que recibió el cuarto lote de alimentos de manos del centro escolar en esta ocasión compuesto por varias cajas de pan precocinado, pan de molde, bases de empanada y napolitanas precocinadas, 4 cajas de zumos, y dos cajas de mono dosis de mayonesa, entre otros productos.

Para el lunes de la semana que viene está ya previsto realizar una nueva donación de carnes, chacinas y productos similares.
