La obra “Velar” de Rafael Martínez conseguía el primer premio del I Certamen de Cortos de la Subbética. Ha sido rodado en La Nava de Cabra. “Cómo hacer un corto en Almedinilla” de Gloria Hidalgoy Rafael Gutiérrez, conseguían el segundo premio y el tercer galardón recaía en “Carandell” de Alejandro González de la Osa.

El Palacio de Erisana acogía la entrega de premios del I Certamen de Cortos de la Subbética, organizado por el Grupo de Desarrollo Rural de la Subbética, junto al Patronato Provincial de Turismo de la Diputación, como herramienta para la promoción de los municipios de la Subbética a través del cine.

El máximo representante de la institución provincial, Antonio Ruiz, destacaba el éxito de este certamen “que en su primera edición ha recibido 16 trabajos que han convertido a la comarca de la Subbética en un gran plató de cine, algo que nos llena de satisfacción”.

En esta línea se manifestaba, también, la delegada de Turismo y vicepresidenta del Patronato Provincial, Inmaculada Silas, quien destacaba que “el cine es una excelente manera de vender un territorio; el turismo cinematográfico no consiste sólo en el rodaje en escenario de un territorio, sino que perdura en el tiempo para conseguir que esos lugares sean escaparates al mundo de lo que podemos ofrecer”.

“Este certamen es un paso importante para impulsar en la provincia este tipo de turismo, que mueve a millones de personas en el mundo y tiene efectos en el terreno, tanto durante los rodajes como posteriormente. Además, tiene efectos en la imagen y la reputación de los destinos”, puntualizaba Silas.

Tal y como recogían las bases del certamen, los cortos presentados a concurso debían ser rodados total o parcialmente en alguna de las 11 localizaciones de la comarca que se fijaron, todas ellas en el entorno de la Subbética.

En total se recibieron 16 trabajos de temática muy variada y de productoras de distintos puntos de España teniendo como escenario localidades como Cabra, Priego de Córdoba, Zuheros o Iznájar.

El primer premio obtuvo 2.500 euros y seis meses de promoción, el segundo,  2.000 euros y el tercero 1.500 euros. La dirección artística del certamen la realizaba Edgar Burgos, cineasta cordobés y presidente de RECORD (Asociación Profesional de Cine y Audiovisual de Córdoba).
