La joven lucentina Elvira Cruces, designada Aracelitana Mayor

La joven Elvira Cruces Vera ha resultado designada Aracelitana Mayor de las próximas Fiestas Aracelitanas, que se celebrarán en Lucena del 3 al 6 de mayo, durante el acto de elección de la Corte Aracelitana 2019 celebrado este mediodía en el Círculo Lucentino bajo la presidencia del alcalde, Juan Pérez, y la concejala de Fiestas, Mª Mar Morales.

A Elvira Cruces, de 24 años, graduada en Bioquímica Universidad de Córdoba, le acompañarán en la Corte Aracelitana 2019 como damas de honor Araceli Díaz Sánchez (19 años, estudiante de 2º Curso de Grado en Educación Infantil en la Universidad de Granada), Araceli María Egea Cuenca (20 años y estudiante de 3º curso de Grado en Educación Primaria en la Universidad de Córdoba), Tania Frías Gutiérrez (23 años y estudiante de FPS de Prótesis Dental en Málaga), Araceli María Lara García (21 años y graduada en Administración y Finanzas), Araceli López Guerrero (21 años y estudiante de 4º curso de Grado de Logopedia en la Faculta de Málaga) y Araceli Montilla Parejo (18 años y estudiante de Grado en Admon. y Dirección de Empresas en la Universidad Pablo de Olavide).

En un acto celebrado en el Círculo Lucentino y acompañadas por familiares y amigos, las jóvenes han defendido su candidatura a Aracelitana Mayor ante un jurado que ha contado también con la presencia de representantes de la Federación de Asociaciones de Vecinos, la asociación Cortes Aracelitanas y la Archicofradía María Santísima de Araceli, además de concejales de los diferentes grupos municipales. La designación de Elvira Cruces ha contado con el voto a favor por unanimidad de la comisión.

Las Fiestas Aracelitanas, declaradas de Interés Turístico Nacional, tienen en la proclamación de la Corte Aracelitana en el Palacio Erisana, el primer viernes del mes de mayo, la apertura del programa oficial festivo que durante cuatro días se desarrolla con el recinto ferial, la plaza Nueva y la parroquia de San Mateo como puntos de interés.
