La Directora Gerente del Hospital Reina Sofía realizará la ofrenda de frutos a la Virgen de Araceli

La Junta de Gobierno de la Real Archicofradía de María Santísima de Araceli ha acordado nombrar el nombramiento de Valle García Sánchez, directora gerente del Hospital Universitario Reina Sofía de Córdoba, para la realización de la Ofrenda de Frutos a la Virgen de Araceli el próximo 26 de septiembre.

La designación de la directora gerente del Hospital Universitario Reina Sofía para ofrecer los frutos del campo a la Patrona de Lucena y del Campo Andaluz tiene por objeto reconocer la importante labor que realizan los profesionales sanitarios de la provincia de Córdoba, su apuesta por humanizar el centro hospitalario para mejorar la estancia de los enfermos en el hospital, así como sus valores cristianos.

Valle García Sánchez es directora gerente del Hospital Universitario Reina Sofía desde hace más de 4 años. En este centro de referencia a nivel andaluz se formó como residente y luego como facultativa, docente e investigadora. Se considera eminentemente clínica y apuesta por una gestión sanitaria desde el corazón.

Desde la Dirección ha impulsado el plan de humanización del hospital, la cirugía robótica, nuevos modelos de atención como la hospitalización domiciliaria. Ha contribuido a la apertura de canales de comunicación directa del hospital con la ciudadanía, las asociaciones de pacientes, las sociedades científicas. Su apuesta por las redes sociales es un ejemplo de ello.

Valle García es especialista en Aparato Digestivo, especialidad en la que, hasta llegar a la Dirección, se dedicaba preferente al manejo de pacientes con enfermedad inflamatoria intestinal. Cuenta con una amplia experiencia docente e investigadora en este ámbito de la Medicina.

En la Junta de Gobierno celebrada en la noche de ayer también se acordó adelantar la Ofrenda de Frutos al 26 de septiembre debido a que en el mes de octubre Nuestra Madre será trasladada a la ciudad de Córdoba para su restauración en el taller de Regespa.
