La Comunidad de Regantes de Lucena pendiente de la concesión de la gestión de parte del caudal de la depuradora de aguas residuales

El  concejal delegado de Agricultura del ayuntamiento de Lucena, Lucas Gómez ha anunciado que la Comunidad de Regantes de Lucena está pendiente de la concesión de la gestión de parte del caudal de la depuradora de aguas residuales. Se trata de  agricultores del sector olivarero que una vez que se constituyeron como comunidad de regantes prepararon el proyecto previo para la concesión.

Cabe recordar que en el pasado mes de noviembre, el alcalde de Lucena, Juan Pérez y el presidente de dicha  Comunidad,   Francisco de Mora, firmaban el convenio ratificado en Pleno Municipal de diciembre en virtud del cual se autorizaba a esta entidad, una vez obtenido el permiso de la CHG,  a aprovechar las aguas regeneradas  según está previsto en el Plan Hidrológico del Guadalquivir por un plazo de cuatro años con posibilidad de prórroga.

Dicha toma estará en la salida de la EDAR y de forma que se asegure el que se capte exclusivamente efluentes de la misma. Así mismo, el volumen disponible de efluentes a dicho colectivo, sumando los demás compromisos contraídos, no podrá superar el 80% del total. Según Gómez, el cupo de permisos para nuevas concesiones estaba cerrado, pero se abrió de nuevo recientemente por lo que la presentación del proyecto y solicitud de los agricultores de Lucena se ha realizado en un buen momento de cara a conseguir la concesión  por lo que se está a la espera de que sea comunicada en un espacio de tiempo breve.

Por otro lado, Lucas Gómez,  ha avanzado que también se está promoviendo la creación de otra comunidad de regantes en la aldea de lucentina de Jauja. Se trata de una iniciativa respaldada por el consistorio y el sector olivarero de esta pedanía  de cara a dar aprovechamiento al caudal del río Genil a su paso por Jauja.

La falta de lluvias de los últimos años y la necesidad de mantener el riego en distintas zonas de olivar despertó entre los olivareros el interés por beneficiarse de un recurso sumamente necesario y que actualmente se está desaprovechando. De esta manera  la puesta en marcha de  comunidades de regantes es algo en lo que se está trabajando en distintas localidades cercanas, como es el caso de Priego de Córdoba o Herrera, en Sevilla.

En esta línea de optimización de los recursos hídricos, desde el ayuntamiento de Lucena se está trabajando para  utilizar el agua de la depuradora para el riego del futuro gran parque de La Estación, una nueva área de ocio que contará con una gran zona ajardinada integrada en un espacio de unos 47.000 metros cuadrados.
