La cofradía filial de la Virgen de Araceli de Málaga inicia el próximo 8 de febrero los actos conmemorativos de su centenario fundacional

La cofradía filial de la Virgen de Araceli de Málaga inicia el próximo 8 de febrero los actos conmemorativos de su centenario fundacional con la celebración del pregón extraordinario que correrá a cargo del lucentino Antonio Rafael García Oliveros que será presentado por su hermana Inmaculada García Oliveros.

En este mismo acto, que se desarrollará en la iglesia de Santo Cristo de Málaga a las 12 de la mañana, tendrá lugar la presentación del cartel y del sello del centenario realizados por Juan Francisco Martínez Zamora y Juan Antonio Fernández Doblas respectivamente.

En la comparecencia pública celebrada en la Casa de la Virgen han estado presentes el secretario de la Real Archicofradía de María Stma. de Araceli, José Millán, el hermano mayor de la filial aracelitana de Málaga, Cristóbal García, el presidente de la Agrupación de Congregaciones, Hermandades y Cofradías de Málaga, Juan Márquez y el comisario de la exposición “100 años de devoción aracelitana en Málaga”, Francisco Peregrina.

Entre los actos programados cabe destacar la exposición ya indicada cuya inauguración tendrá lugar el próximo 29 de febrero y que se desarrollará hasta el 1 de abril en el Museo de la Agrupación de Cofradías de Semana Santa de Málaga. Una muestra en la que resulta fundamental la colaboración de la cofradía matriz que aportará lo más relevante de los enseres y del patrimonio aracelitano lucentino en una de las dos salas habilitadas al efecto. En la otra dependencia será la filial la que muestre piezas de su rico patrimonio artístico completándose con la aportación de las filiales de Madrid, Sevilla y Córdoba.

El 21 de marzo, tras la eucaristía que se celebrará a las once y media de la mañana en el Real Santuario, la Agrupación de Congregaciones, Hermandades Y Cofradías de Gloria de Málaga impondrá a María Stma. de Araceli la la “azucena de plata”, se trata de la máxima distinción que esta institución otorga a las vírgenes coronadas.

Para el 20 de junio está prevista una romería extraordinario desde Málaga al Real Santuario de María Stma. de Araceli que se completará con una visita turística por Lucena. Ya en octubre, el día 2 se presentará y bendecirá el nuevo manto del Centenario de la Virgen de Araceli de Málaga, bordado en oro sobre tisú de plata obra del artista malagueño Juan Manuel Sánchez Quiñones, el día 18 la Virgen de Araceli presidirá el Rosario de las Glorias y el día 30 se presentará el libro del Centenario.
