La Autovía del Olivar es una prioridad para el gobierno andaluz. Con esa frase ha querido dejar claro el diputado socialista en el Parlamento andaluz, Jesús María Ruiz, la postura del ejecutivo de la comunidad autónoma sobre esta vía de comunicación cuya construcción, a su paso por numerosos municipios de la comarca, acumula años de retraso.

El secretario de Política Institucional del PSOE-A en Córdoba ha comparecido ante la prensa junto al alcalde de Lucena, Juan Pérez, para reiterar que el tramo de la Autovía del Olivar a su paso por varias localidades del centro de Andalucía será acometido cuando la comunidad autónoma disponga de mayor financiación. En este sentido, toma una relevancia fundamental la implantación del nuevo modelo de financiación en España para afrontar el coste de su ejecución. Por ello, y ante el reciente cambio de Gobierno, Ruiz se mostró optimista debido a que la nueva ministra de Hacienda, María Jesús Montero, está trabajando por una adecuada financiación.
