La Asociación de Cortes Aracelitanas inicia una campaña de recogida de material escolar para donarlo a la Fundación Acuarela de Barrios

La concejala de Fiestas, Mª del Mar Morales, junto con la representante de la Asociación de Cortes Aracelitanas, Araceli Osuna, y la directora de la Fundación Acuarela de Barrios, Ana Franco, han presentado la campaña de recogida de material escolar a beneficio de dicha entidad implicada en el desarrollo integral de niños y jóvenes en riesgo o exclusión social. Morales ha calificado esta iniciativa como “un proyecto bonito y que en esta ocasión la Asociación de Cortes Aracelitanas van a trabajar por los demás y en este caso les ha tocado a los más pequeños”.

Al comprobar las principales necesidades de los menores que acuden diariamente a la sede de la Fundación Acuarela de Barrios, donde asisten a clases de acompañamiento escolar impartidas por varios voluntarios, entre ellos, maestros y profesores jubilados. Araceli Osuna ha enumerado los diferentes materiales que son más necesarios: “lápices de escribir, bolígrafos, gomas, pegamento, típex, folios, cuadernos grandes, libros de colorear, pinturas, pinceles, rotuladores, diccionarios, plastilina, cartulinas y calculadoras”. Igualmente, la representante de la Asociación de Cortes Aracelitanas ha informado que “también recogen donaciones económicas para la compra de materiales más específicos”.

Por su parte, Ana Franco ha agradecido la iniciativa llevada a cabo por dicho colectivo y ha explicado la labores que realizan la Fundación Acuarela de Barrios con los niños y niñas que acuden a la misma. “Además de apoyo diario, también trabajos en la mediación familia-escuela. Acercamos a los padres a los centros educativos para que se impliquen en el proceso educativo de sus hijos”.

Componentes de la Asociación de Cortes Aracelitanas recibirán las donaciones en el Palacio Erisana, entre el 16 de noviembre y el 22 de diciembre, los jueves y viernes, desde las 19:00 a las 20:30 horas; y los sábados y domingos, de 11:30 a 13:30 horas. Asimismo, también podrá depositarse todo aquello que se desee proporcionar en los siguientes puntos de recogida: Papelería Arcoiris, Papelería Elena, An&cla, Seguros Juan Mangas, Hnos. Galindo.
