El atleta lucentino Juan Miguel Maíllo consigue la segunda posición en la XXII Carrera Popular Playa de la Barrosa

El deportista lucentino Juan Miguel Maíllo disputaba el pasado fin de semana la XXII Carrera Popular Playa de la Barrosa en la localidad gaditana de Chiclana de la Frontera.

Maíllo lograba la segunda posición de la general al recorrer los 8 kilómetros con los que cuenta la prueba en un tiempo de 27 minutos y 42 segundos.

La primera posición la conseguía Manuel Marchena Román, y completó el pódium en categoría masculina Antonio Martín Romero.

En el apartado de las féminas, Raquel Fernández Díaz, llegaba a la meta en primera posición, con un tiempo de 33 minutos y 21 segundos.

La vigésimo primera edición de la prueba se celebró el pasado domingo 21 de julio. La iniciativa sirvió de homenaje al atleta Rafael Carmona Páez.
