José Luis Gil aterriza en el Auditorio Municipal con su obra ‘Cyrano de Bergeraq’

La Delegación de Cultura ha anunciado que la nariz más emblemática, romántica y divertida del cine y el teatro, nos visitará el próximo 21 de febrero a las 21:00 h. en el Auditorio Municipal: CYRANO DE BERGERAC, puesta en escena magistralmente por uno de los actores más queridos, el popular “Sr. Cuesta” de “Aquí no hay quien viva”, acompañado por un excelente plantel de intérpretes.

Esta nueva versión dirigida por Alberto Castrillo Ferrer, nos presenta a un Cyrano audaz (José Luis Gil), de inconfundible voz y ágil verso, defensor de su libertad, camarada leal, divertido bufón, virtuoso de la palabra y sobrado de atributos para obtener el favor de cualquier dama si no fuera por su nariz. Sobre esta protuberancia giran sus aguerridas e ingeniosas acciones al mismo tiempo que oculta detrás de ella su auto desprecio y el miedo al rechazo de la persona amada. Solo al final, cuando se pierde la vida y nada hay que temer, Cyrano se despoja de la nariz que ha sido siempre su máscara para que el destino se vuelva a reír de él por última vez.

Cualquier persona que profundice en la figura de Cyrano tiene la oportunidad de encontrar algo de sí misma. Gran parte de las fortalezas que desplegamos y son visibles al exterior solo son máscaras sostenidas sobre cimientos de otras debilidades que nos esforzamos por ocultar y, en ocasiones, el miedo a no ser correspondidos o aceptados se convierte en el motor que impulsa nuestros actos, alimentando el deseo. Al fin y al cabo, todos tenemos nariz.

Junto a un elenco de otros seis formidables intèrpertes que refuerzan el personaje de Gil, Castrillo-Ferrer dirige esta adaptación bastante fiel del texto que escribió el francés Edmond Rostand, estrenado en París en 1897 y cuya vigencia salta a la vista:

La entrada numerada tiene un precio general de 22 €, y 16.5 € para las personas pertenecientes a alguna de las siguientes categorías sociales: pensionistas de la seguridad social, carné joven, diversidad funcional y familias numerosas.
